Tomorrow...
Tomorrow is the start of homeleave!!!This weekend pathfinders are coming to my church, this homeleave i'm going to visit two aunts and one of my best friends to celebrate her sweet 16. This homeleave i'm going to Chimney's to get 2 G strings, one for my cello and one for my viola and rosin and get my bridge fixed hopefully. (that is going to cost A LOT) Umm... I am going to sleep, study and sleep some more. I'm going to find another book to read and hopefully be able to get a book or two for class. AND i'm going to attempt to start saving up for the laptop i want. and with the budget i have now, i dont know how i'm going to be able to get everything considering i'm trying to save for a puter.
OH, and i forgot to mention in the blog about camp visit, that one of the first things i did after i got there and had worship WAS indeed stand out on the balcony and feel the breeze against my face and the snow under my feet and inhale all the beauty of the mountain area.

Open Skies- David Crowder Band
Praise Him under open skies
Everything breathing, praising God
In the company, of all who love the King
I will dance, I will sing
It could be heavenly
Turn the music loud, lift my voice and shout
From where I am
From where I've been
He's been there with me
He's built a monument
His very people
So let His people
Sing, sing, sing
And it's so wonderful
Just to be here now
Chorus
Praise Him under open skies
Everything breathing, praising God
In the company, of all who love the King
Praise Him under open skies
Everything breathing, praising God
In the company, of all who love the King
Let us dance, let us sing
It could be heavenly
Turn the music loud and sing
Lift your voice to heaven
Lift up your head and sing
To the One who gave His love
This is our offering
Lift your voice to heaven
Lift up your head and sing
To the One who gave His son
Here our lives we bring
From wherever you are
Wherever you've been
He's been there
So let His people sing
And it's so wonderful to be here now
Wherever you are, wherever you've been
He's been there
Everything breathing, praising God
In the company, of all who love the King
I will dance, I will sing

well, its monday. it's better than yesterday's blah. Last weekend at LLC was beyond amazing. it was out of the water amazing. i was so with God during worships. It was amazing. AMAZING! I felt soo moved every time i was up on stage to sing- it wasn't just singing for the kids but i was singing to God. I felt heart-gripping close to Him. It was almost as if he was right above me smiling as he lovingly watched me sing praises to Him. I didn't let anything or anyone get in the way of my time with Him while i was there at LLC and that was the best part of it for me. Not letting anything interfere or bring me down, that is. I felt soo fulfilled and 'recharged' and reconnected. I was there to not only see a bunch of pathfinders, which warmed my heart, but to praise God with all of me. "it's all about the kids" at camp. But i can pretty much say that its about getting closer to God yourself, too.

My dear Martha, . . . there is really only one thing worth being concerned about. Luke 10:41-42
Everything else is worthless when compared with . . . knowing Christ. Philippians 3:8
Are you like Martha--always scurrying around, hoping to win God's favor? Allow yourself to sit at Jesus' feet and pursue the one good thing: knowing him.

For You Kaylee
Well, the other night, remember how i posted about how great and amazing Katie is? Well, there's another amazing and wonderful person.. actually a few in fact but for now Kaylee will be the star of this entry.
The first one is my most dearest friend Kaylee. She's been my friend since... way back when!( in Elementry school?) Today is her 16th birthday and since she has been my friend for almost that long itself she most definitely deserves a birthday blog. ;) Kaylee has always been a wondeful blessing as anything and anyone could be. We have been through everything together. We've been there for a shoulder to lean on and we've been everything that either one of use could possibly want in a friend.- even when we parted into different schools. Kaylee, you're AMAZING. You're real and you are a very dear and special friend. Yea, so i say that with at least two other people but you have been around the longest and you've been through all the tough 'stuff'. I want you to have the most wondeful year growing in all kinds of relationships, including God specifically. You make a wonderful leader for kids, i know you do. May He be with you everywhere you go and in everything you do even when I can't be there with you, experiencing everything life reveals- both good and bad. May you stick with all the right people and excel and stay strong through it all. I wish you enough. Enough of everything for you to get through each day one step at a time. But also making each and every day special so that you may live without too many regrets. Happy Birthday Kaylee! i'll call you the first moment I get tonight!

What the Random?!?!
I have like five minutes... Gotta make good time of it otherwise i wont be able to sleep!
So, I had this sudden great appreciation for Miss. K. Carlson this evening. Don't ask how it lead to this conclusion but once nice overdue conversation with a friend and a little thinking on my 'run' back to dorm and i had remembered what a great appreciation I have for Katie. She's an inspirer, a motivator (SP?), a role-model.. a lot of things. Katie, I know you're out there somewhere, hopefully reading this, you are just great. You kick butt and you work hard and you do it with all your heart and soul and you're just amazing. OK, so yea, you didn't answer your phone but thats ok... i'll forgive you. Katie, if i haven't mentioned you are one of the coolest Katie's i know. Just great. You watch out for me. You have a huge loving heart. So giving. so inspiring. You're kinda like this big sister/big role model i never had and yet secretly do. You help me out and guide me, telling me wise things. So to everyone out there who doesnt know this wonderful girl, meet her!!! She'll inspire you're days and she'll make you laugh and She'll most definitely make you appreciate life.
I love you Katie Carlson!

Recharge
Restore to me the joy of your salvation, and make me willing to obey you.Psalm 51:12
The IRONMAN TRIATHLON® is one of the most grueling endurance events in the world. In order to complete the race, an athlete must swim 2.4 miles, ride a bicycle 112 more miles, then run a 26.2-mile marathon. The best athletes in the world can complete this monumental challenge in under nine hours. But for Australian Chris Legh, his Ironman experience in 1997 was memorable for the wrong reasons. Known as one of the top competitors in the sport, he was unable to keep any fluids or food down during the course of the race. As a result, he became dehydrated, leading to a number of his organs shutting down. Fifty yards from the finish line, his body completely gave out. Legh never finished the race and would’ve died without immediate medical attention. Thankfully, he recovered and has won two Ironman events since. But first, he had to be restored.
While experiences like Legh’s show us humans have physical limits to their endurance, the same can also be said about their spiritual lives. Thankfully, there are warning signs that exist before it becomes too late. When people don’t want to read their Bible or pray, if they decide to shut people out of their lives, or if church becomes just a ritual, something deeper may be going on. They may be suffering from spiritual dehydration. Just as a “Low Fuel” light tells us to fill up the car with gas, it’s time to ask God for a renewed spirit when we see these warning signs. Consider that Jesus had crowds following him everywhere, but he knew his spiritual limits so well that he consistently took time to recharge, even when death was near (see Luke 22:39-43).
When your life’s “Low Fuel” light comes on, don’t ignore it. God wants to recharge and renew your life. Allow him to do just that. Make sure you accept his help to cross the finish line.

Inspire Friendship
Sometimes in our lives we all have pain
We all have sorrow
But if we are wise
We know that there's always tomorrow
Lean on me, when you're not strong
And I'll be your friend
I'll help you carry on
For it won't be long'
Til I'm gonna need
Somebody to lean on
...
If there is a load you have to bear
That you can't carry
I'm right up the road
I'll share your load
If you just call me
So just call on me brother, when you need a hand
We all need somebody to lean on
I just might have a problem that you'd understand
We all need somebody to lean on
Lean on me when you're not strong
And I'll be your friend
I'll help you carry on
For it won't be long
Till I'm gonna need
Somebody to lean on
Lean on me...

well, really there's quite a lot to talk about but none of which i feel like typing. I FINALLY got my cell phone and if u really want it then you have to call me at dorm or somehow contact me the best way u know how. no i'm not verizon.. i'm sprint.
I got back from tour around noon or 1pm today and it was sweet. A sweet sale at Bath and body works and i wasn't very smart and i only got TWO THINGS... really, i dont know where my head was.. i think maybe it was on vacation. I sent it away BECAUSE it was afterall the weekend which mainly meant no math. :))
I had a good time with Justin, nikki and the guitar nerds and I saw the most wonderful Jen M. which just made my weekend. It really is quite wonderful. Nikki R. had her first testimony and it was amazing and i really loved it and i'm glad it went smoothly.
My mom's b/f's surgery thing went very well as far as I know, so thank you all for the prayers. My mom needs the prayer for some strength in a variety of things. ALSO for all of us girls that did go on the belcanto tour because we all had 'issues' of some kind.
and please pray for two friends, silent prayers. They are both struggling...
G'night everyone!

Prayer Requests
ok so the last few days have been poop days but I think it is just the weather doing it to me. This morning i woke up to a pleasant something or another... a thought i guess. There were daisies on the poster board right outside my room. Not real ones of course, paper ones but none the less i woke to a smile thinking of a daisy prep cowgirl, as i will call her.
Lots has been going on, and yet nothing at all has been going on. Just more stuff in my head than other days.
Lots has been going on, and yet nothing at all has been going on. Just more stuff in my head than other days.
- One thing, i got an email from Bridget and Sabrina asking for prayer for their old teacher's daughter, Kimberly. So please pray for her. She has thyroid cancer and she's in KY or something. So pray for her guys.
- Second, I got an email from one of my teachers that i visit during homeleaves and she's trying to 'experience' Jesus more and work on a different set of mind in her teaching. So pray for her too.
- Also, pray for Mr. Shofner and Wendy E. cause they're in TN getting ICC recruits.
- AND pray for Emily C., she sounds like she hasn't been having too too many great days.
- Also, another, a friend in school who've i've noticed doesnt seem his normal self so i think he's trying to think something out so pray for him too.
- for Emily and Adam cause I haven't heard from them in a long time.
- for my mom's boyfriend since he was supposed to go into some kind of heart surgery today.
- for Dorota for whatever might be bothering her since i havent heard from her in a few days.
- For tour groups this weekend too
- For Liz, I'm not sure what's going on in her world but i think she just needs some prayer since she's almost always stressing.
- For Anthony M., he has lost a lot of weight and it concerns me.
- For G. Bush... His decisions, i think, might bring us closer to God's coming. Which i think is a good thing but others might differ.
I guess that's a good prayer list for now...

One day, hopefully sometime in the near future, i will have one of these puters. It is a dream of mine. a secret dream. It's 26-28 bucks a month if i did it that way, but if i did want to that means i would have to get an account and make sure that there will always be money in the account. That means, my mom cannot have access to that account. So, here's my theory. If my uncle sets me up an account and he's the one initially in control, i can make sure there is always enough money in my account AND i could SAVE money. Two with one stone! :))
2 in 1
They must not speak evil of anyone, and they must avoid quarreling. Instead, they should be gentle and show true humility to everyone. Titus 3:2
How can you grow closer to the people around you? Make sure your words and actions are filled with grace, humility, and gentleness. Reflect God's care for people in your heart.
Anonymous Encouragement
Is there any encouragement from belonging to Christ? Any comfort from his love? Any fellowship together in the Spirit? Are your hearts tender and compassionate? Then make me truly happy by agreeing wholeheartedly with each other, loving one another, and working together with one mind and purpose.Philippians 2:1-2
As author John Maxwell has noted, there is a difference between being a leader and being a manager. He often points out that management focuses on maintaining systems and processes, while leadership is about “influencing people to follow.” One way to cultivate such influence is breathtaking in its simplicity: Influence involves caring sincerely about others.
While going through my senior year of college, there were days when it seemed as if the weight of the world had been placed on my shoulders. Classes were scheduled at odd times, so I had to plan meetings, work, and other errands as opportunity allowed. One day, I was feeling particularly frustrated when I stopped by my mailbox. Most of the time, there was nothing inside. But on this day, I found a card containing a few encouraging lines penned in blue ink.
What struck me was that it didn’t have a name on it. It didn’t have to. The card had done the job it was intended to do—to show me that I was cared for and appreciated. Of course, showing someone that you care can be accomplished in ways other than sending a card to someone. A kind word can do the same thing. If somebody is struggling with an issue (or life in general), simply sitting and listening can be worth more than any words that may come to mind. And don’t forget prayer, for “the earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results” (James 5:16).
However, encouragement isn’t just reserved for those who know Christ Jesus. All people need to hear positive words, especially the words that tell of One who died for us so that we can have eternal life. Let’s strive to be an encouragement to all we come in contact with daily.
What Anonymous encouragement can you give today? Do it and see the results.

real quick, props to Katie. Didn't want to post a comment there but still need to share with someone. Heartfelt... When a friend leaves for what seems like its going to be forever, it really hurts. It really deeply hurts. But... its never forever. they're never gone forever until they're really 'gone.' I'd like to say more but it's only 2 minutes until lights out. Just remember all the great times you have with your friend, laughing soo hard that your stomach hurts and you are crying. :)) those are always the best times. Or even when you are just sitting, bonding, talking about something that matters.
goodnight. I love you, Katie, Em and Doll!

Like Whoa visit

So this was definitely after Dinner, icecream and Cabella's just so we know. umm.. lets see... oh yes, Dolly and I decided that she should stay until after studyhall is over. after a little persuasion of course. ;) She didn't realize that Studyhall was to 9:45. ;) I spent the majority of the time trying earnestly to persuade her to stay the night because ya know, she has not so good night vision. ;) That wasn't the only reason though. ;) It's not often that your best friend comes home from another country for xmas break to see you. Other than that we just stayed in bed and enjoyed eachother company along with my roomie.

So, this is way back before christmas break, but i finally found a way and time to get pictures posted and onto my account. Dude, i had to delete ALL my files in order to fit these pictures on my account. i have 98% of my space taken up by JUST these pictures. craziness i tell you! but excuse the order cause i'm just posting these pictures randomly.
(insert pretty picture of dolly eating burger.) ;)
Did you know that dolly has really good aim? but that's only what she told me. notice the awesome bow and its fanciness. I personally, could never kill an animal on purpose. (also at cabella's)

OK so first, after there was the initial meeting dolly in the ad building, we decided on going out to i think, burger king. These were also the days when she still had long hair, i might add. :) We decided on having cow between two pieces of bread, as she called some of the sandwhiches.
Afterwards, the two of us went to Cabella's where we discovered a rather comfy bed i wish we could have snoozed on for a little while. She thought that this moose was a bear! I think the antlars were pretty obvious but i suppose she saw otherwise. ;) :*

That was her visit with me in a nutshell. Katie and Emily came later that week and I can't forget that they did. Once I get pictures from that I will make point of posting those as well. Good night! OH!!!! and Dolly, Jeremy.... he cut his hair... way short.. James G. told me today... I was in shock... Kinda just stood there awkwardly with my jaw slightly dropped. its a shame.. I really liked that hair.. it fit him well. :(

A smile or two
OK, so i just read darling Katie's blog. It's the only reason i'm blogging just so ya'll know that it was something that made me smile. For those "blah" days, as katie had put it, there's something that will make it better and at least for Katie and I, the ones displayed on her blog are good candidates. Tea especially!! it is SOO RELAXING!!!! Thank goodness for the tea sent to me and three bears of honey!
He will give you all you need from day to day if you live for him and make the Kingdom of God your primary concern. Matthew 6:33
Are you trapped by daily worries? Instead of worrying, remember God's promise to always provide for your needs. Then refocus your worry into acting for the good of God's kingdom.

I no longer count on my own goodness or my ability to obey God's law, but I trust Christ to save me. Philippians 3:9
What skills do you take pride in? A sharp mind? The ability to make others feel comfortable? Remember that all such gifts come from a loving God. Your value is based on him rather than on yourself.

well...
A week of moping and a night and morning of drama and i'm still alive. I am ready to go back to BMA and greet dearest Keri with my warmest hug because i really do miss the dorm and Keri's delightful presence. :) I doubt i'll get another visit from Doll but i'm still a little hopeful. It's still possible. Not likely but possible. It'd be very nice to get another visit from Katie but i think maybe shes back at union already or will be when i get back. I really would thoroughly enjoy a good Katie hug or two. (or three) I'll be back at BMA on Sunday sometime hopefully in the early afternoon seeing how home is going as of late. Itd even be more likely to see doll if i do it that way. ;) hint, hint doll... anyway i have 5 minutes and wanted to wish everyone and everyone a happy new year!!! I'd do it individually if time allowed be because its so much more meaningful and i can make it personal but...
love you alls!!
