So i've started this prayer log thing on my computer. It's pretty sweet because there's a lot I can do in this program so i hear. The down side of it is, i don't know how to do any of the cool stuff. But every day for the past... 2 weeks, since i started on the puter, i logged everyday. It's pretty awesome for me. I've always enjoyed writing, and a couple years ago i started a prayer journal up thinking, it be good for me to write something. Then I stopped. I think it was last year(?) i got a little revolve journal and decided while i was at camp i'd try to write in it every day and it turned into a prayer journal in the end. I don't write in it much anymore though. It's in my closet in the dorm with another journal my cousin got me. I think its because i'm starting not enjoy writing as much as I used to. I don't have an intrest to write. I only write letters to people now and thats not very often anymore either. I've made this attatchment to the keyboard now and it makes writing for me so much easier and faster. :) So when I started this journal on my puter I decided everytime I would write in it, it would be thanking God for something more than asking him for anything. They don't have to be big things. Like thanking him for the sunshine or thanking him for helping me find something or helping me think of creative ways to send a smile or a message to someone far far away- or even in the dorm for that matter. ;) It's pretty cool because He's like this friend who helps me out whenever i need it or sends me little messages of 'i love you' through out the day and it makes me thankful for being at bma sometimes. Even sometimes i think he's telling me, this is for you because you're sticking it out at bma. (even if i don't like it) ;)
So i got this in my inbox today from my daily devotional and thought of my prayer journal on my puter.
I recall all you have done, O LORD; I remember your wonderful deeds of long ago. Psalm 77:11
Take time to remember what God has done for you.
