How Hard Could it Be?

Last year we had a class for Yoga that Mrs. U taught. I never had a chance to join the class because I was already in Apple Core. Thinking back on not having the chance to ever try out yoga, I thought it would be a good experience to try. So i did some searching online. I found a pretty nice site explaining how to go about certain positions and safety procautions. I have seen people do yoga and didn't think it could be that hard. I considered myself pretty flexible.

Have you ever tried to do yoga? I can tell you it's not easy!! You have to be really flexible! Try the Downward facing dog for example. I was pretty much making a triangle with my body. It was hard!! It really stretched out my legs. Or maybe the extended Triangle Pose. That one is not so hard but it does have a little pain. It's supposed to strengthen the thighs, knees and ankles. It stimulates teh abdominal organs and helps relieve stress. Yoga does a number of things in general but those are just a few from one stretch. To put a picture in your mind, your legs would be spread apart while standing, you would then put your hands on your hips and slowly raise them making your arms parallel to the floor and your palms are facing down. Your left foot is slightly to the right and your right foot out to the right 90 degrees. You are then bent to the right with one hand on the ground and the other in the air directly above your head. You head is looking at your thumb and your legs hurt!! try to picture yourself doing that! Now i thought it couldnt have been that hard!! it really is!! Tootles for now! Doll is back!!
